The “Best of Spring” – Another List of Jewellery Trends for 2017
We have covered some amazing stuff in the last posts on jewellery trends from spring 2017 collections, and in this final one, we bring the other ideas that we found to be unique. As always, our focus is on making these ideas and trends work for every girl out there, so that one doesn’t stop experimenting. Don’t miss on checking the other posts in the “Best of Spring” series, if you haven’t already. Without much talk, let’s start right away!
Single earring is back:
If you remember the Spring 2014 shows, you will recall the way single statement earrings were used for different shows. The trend seems to have made a comeback this season, with top names like J.W. Anderson, No21, Saint Laurent and Wanda Nylon working on the idea. Instead of statement pieces, this time we have some big and oversized earrings that can make jaws drop. Honestly, this can be a little over the top for some ladies, but hey, who cares! For those who love to experiment, this one is a must have by all means, and we totally recommend the idea!
2D is here:
Many top names, like Gucci, Moschino, Giambattista Valli, and Prada, worked with 2D designs for the season, and it worked big time. These jewellery pieces, right from earrings to neckpieces, are designed to be faux items and easy to wear. What you get is a grand feel that doesn’t look pricey, and that’s the intention. If you check the designers we have mentioned, you will definitely find something worth a pick. Better still, you can create a look for yourself by using craft materials. After all, fashion for your personal style doesn’t need any validation!
Hard it up:
Shows like Alexander Wang, Vionnet, Wanda Nylon and Coach had a lot of hard elements in the jewellery. You can see some amazing ideas in form of use of bicycle keys or even rubber bands for earrings. The idea is surely unique in many ways, and we insist that you take a look at the pictures, before actually making a statement or trying the idea. This isn’t something that needs extreme detailing, but the trend will be amazing for girls who love to wear casual dresses and play it cool and easy.
Hybrid wow:
Ever thought that earring-necklace can be a great hybrid? Well, designers have changed the game and come up with something totally unique and happening. We are talking of the hybrid pieces that seemed extremely fun and worth trying at shows of Maison Margiela, Mary Katrantzou, and Rodarte. This is one of the few trends that you wouldn’t mind trying for a better price. We strongly believe that the idea would come up again in the seasons ahead, since we saw very little of it.
