Fashion is taking cues from the 80s and 90s this season, and jewelry styles are following suit. Take a look at some of the retro trends being revived in the latest in bling!

1. Pinky Rings
Once only associated with gangsters, the pinky ring is making a comeback this season for both men and women. This 90s trend is hot again, with attractive feminine styles to highlight your manicure.
As Vogue says, go big or go home. The runways are showing pinky rings in striking and bold designs with large stones and eye-catching designs.
In another nod to the 80s (remember the preppy fad?), signet rings are popular now when worn on the pinky finger. You don't need a family crest or Ivy League College class ring to have fun with this latest throwback fashion.
2. Versatility
The desire from jewelry buyers to experiment with trendy jewelry while still building a collection of "responsible" pieces that can be used in a variety of different settings is greater than ever.
The hottest trend here is adjustable chains. Necklace lengths can be tricky to navigate - with the need for different lengths for every possible situation. With the ability to go from choker-length to opera-length, a single adjustable-length chain takes care of that issue.
3. Asymmetry
This season the designers were sending their models down the runway with wildly asymmetrical earrings. It's cool now to mix and match swinging chain, chandelier or tassel variations.
Pair one earring that brushes the shoulder with a hoop as a non-conformist nod to the new wave fashions of the 80s. Or you can opt for wearing just one!
4. Anklets

Chandeliers come in dramatic vintage styles which can make a great impact at a special evening event. You could also wear just one, to keep in the asymmetrical mode.
6. Pendants
Pendant necklaces are super popular for 2018. Large amulets or semi-precious stones embedded in solid gold or silver look amazing when they swing around your neck on long chains.
Layering these necklaces is another way to showcase your pendants. You can start with a choker with a pendant hanging right on your collarbone, then add longer and longer necklaces to reach your chest or even waist.
Pendants can evoke cultures ranging from native American to ancient Asian to Aztec. You may wish to honor your own ancestors with pendants in the style of their countries and histories.
7. Hoop Earrings
Hoop earrings go in and out of style. Guess what? They are back in - way in!
If you have multiple piercings, adding hoops in increasing size in one or both ears makes a dramatic statement.
Gold or silver looks great, or even brightly colored resin models. The lower prices for resin hoops will allow you to purchase them in a rainbow of shades, with one for every outfit in your closet.
Choose a hairstyle that will show off this look. Long straight locks will bring back memories of Cher on her 1970s TV show! A natural Afro with large hoops is a fond acknowledgment of Pam Grier's foxy lady look.
