What is Dropshipping (DS) and which advantages offers it to you?
As a retailer you are able to offer a single (or even thousands of) product(s) which you yourself do not need to have in stock.
You do not need to keep your own stock of merchandise and bear only a very low financial risk.
As professionals we take over the stock keeping and dispatch of all merchandise for you.
Your are able to calculate your profit margins freely on all of our products how you want them.
You have to pay to us merely the net wholesale price (plus VAT under certain circumstances) as well as a low DS-fee per shipment.
Our DS-fee is a set amount, so you can keep your calculations simple.
You only pay us after your customer has paid to you.

How does it work?
You can choose to put a selection of our products on your web site for sale or you can open up a whole new web shop including our complete product range. When a product of ours gets sold on your web site or in your shop; wait for the payment of your customer. After that you need to send us via e-mail or Fax a bill of delivery or an invoice for your customer (in *.doc, *.txt or *.pdf format). The bill of delivery or an invoice for your customer is stringent necessary. It counts as your order to us to send merchandise of ours in your name to your customer. Please, in your own best interest, make absolutely sure, that your customer has already paid the invoiced amount to you!
Dispatch of products from warehouse Cottbus happens invariably as insured mail. Either via registered package or registered letter, depending on size and quantity. On every package sticker we print yours as the sender's address , so that your customer knows for sure, the product he/she received, came directly from you. In case of a loss is every shippment insured (e.g. via DHL up to 500.00 EUR).
Returns from your customers (e.g., because of legal right of return or cancellation right or entitled complaints) we take of course back again from you. Over the amount you receive a credit or a back transfer to your bank account.
Where can one find the 'Dropshipping' option in the GALLAY-Shop?
The 'Dropshipping - Yes/No' option can be found in the Shopping Cart below the drop-down field for the payment options. If you want, that we send a product directly to your customer; then please, set this field to 'Yes'. The normal shipping fee will then be replaced with the 'Dropshipping' flat rate.
Tips and Tricks - Handling of inventory and availability of products
The inventory of our products is changing daily. Therefore you have to pay attention to the amounts that are in stock. Otherwise a customer
may buy (and pay for it) an product thats still showing in your shop, but is already sold out. In order to avoid these and similar pitfalls, we
want to give you a few tips and tricks:
1. When you choose products to display in your shop, you should look for items that are in larger amounts or sufficiently available.
At least five or more could be sufficient if you plan to update daily.
2. Check availability and amount of products that you display in your shop regularly against our warehouse inventory.
3. Don't work at auction sites like eBay with long offer periods on products that you don't have. (Buy 'em first!)
4. Somtehig that should be obvious: Update your data regularly!
5. Use our CSV-service!
You get three times a day updated CSV-files which contain all our up to date product information.
There is also the possibility to automatically download and import these files into your system.
6. If you sold an item even though it's not available anymore; send us an urgent e-Mail. Sometimes we have remainders from trade shows.
Maybe we can help and send you the item even if it is shown as unavailable in our store.
7. Should you find a 'hot-seller', it may be best if you buy at least a small amount as 'iron stock', which you sell when our inventory shows Zero
and nobody else still has it, but you. Think about profit!
8. In busy sales times like Christmas you need to have a close look at the inventory at our store.
If necessary check it several times daily.
Many of our customer have long years of experience in selling jewelry on- and off-line.
These -or likewise- experiences are some of the prerequisites necessary to be successful with our 'Dropshipping' offer.

How are the delivery times with 'Dropshipping'?
We can deliver, as a rule, immediately after receiving of your order. Orders, which have been received on workdays till 12.00 o'clock, ordinarily will be shipped off still on the same day.
What happens when a customer wants to return a product?
Entitled returns from deliveries, which were sent by us via 'Dropshipping' directly to your customer, will be taken back by us on your order. Such item should get sent - above all for cost reasons - directly from your customer back to us . Please, inform your customer in this a case of it before he/she returns an item. Reasons for a valid return could be, for instance, the cancellation rights for consumers or legal guarantee claims between you and your customer.
With what you must calculate when you use Dropshipping?
Our Dropshipping fee for targets within Germany amounts to 8,00 EUR * flat fee. This amount has been calculated for the mailing of one delivery / package to one of your customers - incl. dispatch and insurance costs. There are no additional costs or fees. Only, if an item leaves Germany, are there small, customs related additions. Look at the table below for the values. In order to not incur a 'negative' profit, think about figuring this into your price calculation or let the customer outright pay for it. A healthy mix calculation is good advice in any case.
Anything we send out for you as a 'Dropshipping' order will invariably invoiced on net prices. There will be no rebates for anything sent by 'Dropshipping'.
What services/costs are included in the DS-fee?
1. Reception of your DS-order by e-mail
2. Data acquisition and check of the delivery address of your customer in our dispatch software
3. Control and printout of your dispatch papers (bill of delivery / invoice, dispatch-sticker)
4. Packing the article (e.g., in gift packaging *)
5. Costs for the dispatch material (cardboard, letter, filler and so on)
6. Dispatch fee for packages, insured letters or registered letter (merchandise value insured)
7. Clearing and settlement of returns from your customers
8. Investigations on missing or lost shipments
* The selected packing itself is calculated separately in each case.

When do you add German VAT on Dropshipping orders?
If your place of business is located outside of Germany,
the German VAT will be added to an order in the following cases:
1. Any one item of your DS-order is to be delivered within Germany (does NOT leave
Germany).
2. A shipment leaves Germany without proof of leaving; e.g., by simple letter or package
(applies only if you ordered us expressly to use this shipping method).
If your place of business is inside Germany, the German VAT will be added to any order.
Do I have to register extra for Dropshipping ?
No, you must not register yourselves with us especially for Dropshipping . You can begin any time to sell our products with the DS-option. Only the first shipment, Only the first shipment we shall carry out for you via Dropshipping needs to be arranged with us by phone or e-Mail!
Is there is a special Dropshipping agreement?
At the moment we work on a usage clause for our Dropshipping offer; we will make it available to you shortly.
